i can't see a chinese in fc2 console

when i installed zhcon.a popular chinese console enviorment.
i can't see a chinese in my "ls"doing.
i don't know how to solve it.
and i couldn't install a unicon program
i think the problem is zhcon couldn't encode unicode view
but my fc2 is list by unicode
so i mail to the author,but can't mail to him.because his mail server is out of range
can you tell me how to solve this problem?
